Help Them Keep Their Words

Help Them Keep Their Words

keep your words

A person is only as good as his words.

How often I wish this is still true in our society!

Nonetheless, in order to effect any real change at all, we have to start with ourselves and the ones closest to us — our children.

First, we have to learn the anatomy of a good promise.

Next, learn to keep your words with your children, especially in the small tangible things.

Then, teach them the power of a promise kept.

Now, help them keep their words.

Lastly, encourage them to make this a habit, not matter how unrewarding it might seem at times because life is inherently messy and unfair.
